Joint MEDIAN–TRUDEVICE Open Forum
Sep. 30, 2014 - Amsterdam
Co-Located with DFT 2014
Call for contributions
Electronic devices pervade our lives, from consumer electronics up to safety-critical systems used in a wide range of applications, from medical to automotive or avionics scenarios, including secure devices like smart-cards, electronic passports or secret storage elements.
Dependability and security of such devices is of primary importance. Two COST Actions exist to cover, from one side, reliability aspects of future digital systems (MEDIAN) and, from the other side, issues related to hardware security to combat semiconductor device counterfeiting, theft of service and tampering (TRUDEVICE).
While these two Actions cover different aspects of the dependability of the whole systems, the two communities share several common skills and scientific methodologies and solutions. The joint MEDIAN+TRUDEVICE open forum will provide an environment for young researchers to share problems, common practices, and discussions on recent findings, theories and on-going work. Topics of the open forum include but are not limited to:
